Originally from the western suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri, in 2018 I began my journey at Elon University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Arts in Strategic Communications with minors in International/Global Studies and Leadership Studies in May of 2022. Over these four years, I collaborated with different personality types/leadership styles all while working to better Elon and its surrounding communities by enacting effective, long-lasting change. My goal is to continue doing that in other spaces.
I'm the oldest of three, and in my free time I love binge-watching new shows, thrifting, finding recipes to test in the kitchen, hiking and practicing acts of self-care. Along with hoping to eventually publish my own book, start a podcast and produce a screenplay, I also plan to visit all 50 U.S. states by the time I'm 50.
I'm passionate about any and all things creative, specifically photography, film, music, editing and writing. I’ve always valued expressing myself and learning more about the world around me, whether that was through songwriting, creating YouTube videos, vision boarding or traveling to Spain after studying the Spanish language for five years. I’ve also considered many different careers, some of which have included becoming a middle school teacher, interior designer, realtor, magazine journalist and much more.
While my creative outlets and aspirations have shifted over the years, they all boil down to storytelling and creativity, which are the two themes that this portfolio covers. I love continuing to challenge myself through new opportunities and growing my skillset. No matter what I do next, it will continue to help and uplift others while following my own goals and ambitions, and I'm excited for whoever is reading this to be along for the ride :)
